Crescent Moon Homestay

It was a fantastic stay at Crescent Moon for 5 days. It’s clean and very well maintained. It is in close vicinity of some famous cafés, significant tourist spots and important temples of Rishikesh. The host Pooja is the most pleasant person you’ll ever come across. Extremely helpful and kind. Every time I visit Rishikesh, I know I don’t have to look beyond Crescent Moon. Highly recommended!

It was the perfect stay in Rishikesh! Clean, spacious room with everything you need, amazing view from the window to the mountains. Even the bathroom was very clean Best value for price! Note: It is a few streets from the main road of Lakshman Jhula, so it is far enough to have peaceful atmosphere but in the same time it is just 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and cafes. I felt totally safe in that area even 9 pm alone going home. I could hang my wet clothes on the rooftop, which has a breathtaking wiev. The wifi was strong enough for me to give a 2,5 hours lecture to Europe on Zoom (only 10 minutes there was some weakness) I will defenetely stay here if I come to Rishikesh again..

The room was new, with a terrace, and quite well appointed. There is a full kitchen! The bed was so comfortable! It is off the main area and quiet. The owners are very proactive.

It was a festival during my stay, at times kids would set off firecrackers that sound like bombs That was common to the whole of Rishikesh.

It’s a very nice place. Owners are very helpful and hospitable, they helped me with all questions and asks that I had. It’s on a hill, but it’s ok, reading others reviews I scared that it’s something huge. No, just a small hill Bed is very comfy, home is very clean and in silent area. Bed sheets and towel are clean and with quality that is comfy for skin It’s close to all markets, cafes and ashrams. Few minutes till Ganga

I would advise to ask owners to guide you to the property in first time. By your own it’s hard to find. But once you saw it, you’ll find the route

Most comfy stay ever in Rishikesh... Host : Pooja is welcoming/easy going/respectful/pretty/a text away/ very accomodating/wd go out of the way to help u have a comfy and butter smooth stay in both at the property and over all travelling/stay experience in rishikesh Home stay : Big spacious and well ventilated room with loads of air and sun light. King size comfy bed Well lit room No dampness or foul smell Clean linen Big n clean washroom with western toilet 24x7 running water Geyser for hot water (Much needed in winters) Towel n bathing soap is availbable for use Check in check out experience : I wd say one of the most smoothest and easiest stays by far. My recommendation go for it. Even the hotels in europe can give u a tought experience when it comes to check in n check out but this was difinetly smooth. Locality: 3 5 minutes uphil/downhill walk from laxman jhula market/river ganges Peaceful ..homely and safe location. I was with my wife . i felt safe and secure Food options: Major cafes such as freedom cafe and little buddha are right around the corner with all the other cafes and dhaaabas and food joints. So getting food up until 9 or 10 is not an issue. Rent a scooty: U just have to ask the host and the same shall be brought to u without any hastle. My verdict: The host and all the ppl who worked with the property were too good and helpful. Tbh its not really the property . its the ppl who serve and asisst u as one of their own Be rest assured if u can walk a bit uphil and downhil then its a steal deal.

Great hosts. They took care of me like I were family. The location is a bit difficult to reach but it was the staff's hospitality and pick-up/drop providd that would make me go and stay there again. Also, the hosts gave me great deal on vehicle hire and suggestions for offbeat locations to visit.
