The Willows with Free Parking for 2 Cars

Excellent location, 20 min walk/c £10 taxi ride into York centre. Bright spacious accommodation, excellent size garden. Great shower and bathroom, and useful downstairs WC. Directions and communications leading up to our stay were excellent. Would not hesitate to return.

Easy access - able to walk there in 15 minutes from York station. Beautifully clean. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay.

We are 2 adult daughters and a mum. One daughter had to sleep in the small bedroom which has bunk beds. The length of the mattresses are on the small side and not particularly comfortable. We managed as we were only there for 3 nights. A longer stay - you may want to take this into account. Children would be fine sleeping in the bunks.

A very good sized home in a good location for the city centre, only a 20minute walk. Having two parking spaces is a big bonus. Big garden was also great.

The kitchen isn’t very well equipped. We had to buy a few things to make it more practical (can opener, peeler etc) so having these as standard would’ve made it perfect. We did manage to cook but some more pots and pans would have made things easier. The signal on the TVs isn’t great, very sluggish when operating the smart TV for iPlayer, Netflix etc. There was also no recycling available.

The owners were very helpful, and responded to queries as soon as they received them. Location was perfect as we could walk 20 minutes, then you are in the city centre. You have the best of both worlds!

The only very minor consideration is that the one room had bunk beds which were not ideal for large adults. Fantastic for children and families though.

Good position within walking distance of the city centre but in a quiet location. It has a lovely lay out with a nice garden, well equipped playroom/tv room a bonus when you have young children

No en suite in main bedroom, no teapot or coffee machine. A welcome pack of milk, a few goodies etc would have been useful. It has a lovely garden but no garden furniture to use, as it was warm and sunny when we were there that would have been a bonus. information on recycling would have been useful.

Loved it. Good location, well equipped. Peaceful and plenty of space.
