"Beautiful home in York"

The house was wonderful, well maintained, clean, modern finishes and furnished very nicely. We stayed over Christmas and there was a decorated christmas tree in the lounge which was a very sweet and appreciated touch. There was also a playroom with PlayStation and board games. Easy free parking at the property for two cars. Really loved staying here as a home away from home and would definitely stay again.

No coffee machine and no microwave. The water heater was on 25 degrees as we discovered when first using the shower, we increased the temperature to 65 degrees but unfortunately it still didn’t get very hot.

What a lovely place! So much space and the house was spotless and in a quit area nearby the city centre. A nice kitchen and there was coffee, tea and hot chocolate milk.👌

We were with 6 adults so the bunkbed was a bit of a tour but the beds were comfortable. There where only 5 big towels instead of 6 but that didn't bother us.

Location was great. On first appearance the property looked really good. Toilet downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. Parking was great! The garden was very private.

The house hadn't been cleaned. There were fingerprint at a low level ( children's) on the doors into the conservatory , all the downstairs floors were dirty. There were cobwebs especially above the fridgefreezer.The floor lamp in the living area was broken . The hoover was dirty. The trap in the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet seat in the bathroom was loose, it moved when sat on ( an accident waiting to happen). There was no soap in the downstairs loo. No micro in the kitchen ( in a holiday home? ) The wicker furniture in the conservatory was hanging to bits! The outside bin was almost full and was very smelly.
