"Wonderful, spacious, comfortable cottage with 3 baths and wood stove in great location."

10.0

Very lovely cottage on a farm. Excellent accommodations for our family with 3 comfy bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Modern kitchen and comfy living room with wood stove. Wonderful place to come back to after day of exploring N. Pennines or Hadrians Wall. 1 mile from small village of Alston with gas station and pubs. The Cumberland is a wonderful local pub. The Cottage is the best place we’ve stayed on our 2 week UK tour!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

"Perfect dog friendly getaway"

10.0

The photos do not do this cottage justice. The whole place is set out to a high standard with everything you could need. The rooms were a lot bigger than what we expected, with plenty of space in the living room for all of us and the dogs. This is a great place to visit with the dogs as there was also a private garden with a summer house to use. The beds were so unbelievably comfortable, and the showers were amazing. The owners were so helpful and answered all our queations. I can't recommend it enough, we will definitely be back.

Nothing! We loved this cottage

"Fantastic!"

10.0

This is a really lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the North Pennines. It's spotless, very comfortable and has great views from the main bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. If you can't be bothered cooking there's a great cafe 2 mins away for breakfast and several places in Alston for dinner. We stayed during unseasonably hot weather in September so didn't get to enjoy the wood burning stove - we'll save that for next time! This truly is a little gem.

Amazing cottage, in a wonderful location. So cozy. Loved the view from the main bedroom window. Main village 5 min drive . Great little cafe 2 minutes up the road. Great communication with host. Thank you Jan.

Dog barking first night , but you are on a farm so to be expected.
