The cottage

Property was a modernised farm building and was of a very high standard. Lots of little touches, and clear that deep thought had gone into the whole property. Bath towels were massive and very soft - thanks! The hosts left a pint of milk that was very thoughtful of them.

Nothing really - it’s on a working farm and seeing the animals & chatting to the farmer was really good.

Ideal location with excellent facilities. We loved the amount of space in the property and all mod cons. There was a downstairs wet room

Beautiful and comfortable home in a beatiful part of the country

I'd booked The Cottage for my brother and his family. Five adults and two large dogs. They all had a wonderful time. The dogs, with boundless energy, thoroughly enjoyed the garden. So much so, my family had difficulty getting them out of there. Perfect for a weekend away. My brother had a hip replacement just a week ago and said he had perfect sleep. The Cottage is perfectly situated to Alston for food shopping, cafes etc.

The Cottage was immaculate inside, it had everything you possibly needed to hand, the bedrooms were spacious. The decor was bright and welcoming. The views from The Cottage were stunning and the use of the garden and summer house completed our stay.

Beautiful little cottage in a beautiful location. Perfect for a quiet get away. This is one of those places where as soon as you walk through the door it feels like home. There are some lovely walks in the area. Hope to be back soon.
