Nice room Really comfy bed Good food

Unfortunately my room had a plumbing issue and the toilet backed up into my shower. I did message the hotel and tell them but I have been ignored It was really unpleasant and stank!

Nice pub, shame about everything else.

Arrived to discover our room was double booked. Was told to cancel booking through the app and was charged again for another room. Nearly three weeks later we are still waiting for a refund, always a reason it’s been delayed. We have had to chase them up multiple times, no response through booking.com. Absolutely unacceptable. Rooms were basic, not worth what they are charging. Tv didn’t work. No wifi and no phone signal. Zero staff members around in the morning for check out.

Excellent location in Bakerwell, close to bus stop and main attractions in the area. The room was big, everything clean, comfortable bed. I'd definitely book here again if I return to the Peak District.

There could be an easier way to retrieve and return keys, as the instructions provided via Booking.com didn't match the reality. Maybe a small reception area with a safety box would be useful- some places that can't have staff working there 24/7 use this method, so visitors do a quick and secure check-in/check-out by themselves. I was worried to just leave my keys on the door, when I was supposed to return them directly to someome.

Good location, and guest room.

Would be better if they offered breakfast.

This was supposed to be a deluxe room, it was like a shoe box, -damaged walls were filled but not painted, -very dark & dingy- poor lighting to put makeup on. -Dust on surfaces, -smeared bathroom mirror. - -Extremely Noisy!!! Got woken up at 1.30am by neighbouring room talking loudly! - Could hear everything said by people sat outside as outdoor seating was directly outside of our room. - uncomfortable bed, causing lack of sleep and back pain for us both £150 we paid for 1 night, that was just astronomical for what we got!!! Not happy, definitely would not be going again. The only reason why we didn’t speak to the staff is because e literally dropped our bags & went out, mainly due to people sitting outside the window of our room. When we returned later that night there was no one around. This morning we had to leave by 8am for a meeting- again there was nobody around to check us out or to give the keys to, so we just left.

The room is nicely decorated and the shower room well appointed.

The bed was uncomfortable and would benefit from a new mattress. We thought it was quite expensive and a shame that no breakfast is on offer.

It was room only very pleasant and comfortable.

No parking or little.

Fish and chips was good and service good but overall it was rather shabby.

There was no breakfast and little choice of any quality in the town. I was not an enjoyable experience. Thankfully the weather was warm and sunny.
