"Lovely place to stay"

Utterly charming place. The surrounding area is beautiful, the grounds are lovely to walk through, and the hotel is a historic building (so there are some rough patches/imperfections) with a surprisingly high level of modern comfort. Excellent breakfast. Staff very kindly answered questions about building's history. Would be lovely place for wedding or reception.

Lovely room, booked a double but it was set up for a single person. Breakfast was outstanding 👌

We were told the bar would close at 11pm but they closed everything down by 10.30pm and we were left outside the hotel!

Pleasant staff Great breakfast Comfortable room

The evening meal was a little bland and we felt slightly rushed. The room's extractor fan seemed to be shared by the kitchen and therefore smells from there entered the room
