Udawalawe Safari House

At 6$ a night it is hard to complain. For that price the available pool is incredible and the rooms are fine. Includes a quite OK breakfast!

Do not expect a fancy clean apartment complex. Cabins are accessible via a narrow messy path and pool/cabin environment is also messy. There was a family party and 6 guys jumped into the pool 5 metres from our cabin at 1u30 AM!

The place was just better than we expected for this price. Large very comfortable rooms. And the food served at the place (dinner and breakfast) was carefully prepared and delicious.

ideal location with wonderful staff. the facilities were exceptional for the price. Very nice breakfast. Service is excellent. close to the udawalawe national park. was easy to go on a safari. highly recommended.

Lovely friendly family, nice pool, arranged great safari for us, food was really good. All in all very good value.

Only thing would be nice to have had a mosquito net on the bed.

Best place I've stayed in Sri Lanka, the room, the pool, the food, everything was great. I did the safari with them and was a great experience, the guide was very good.
