The Hollies

It was a convenient base to where we wanted to visit.

Nothing really.

Overall decor and cleanliness were excellent. Well appointed and thoughtfully converted with tasteful touches.

Previous reviews have praised the breakfast, however, we found it a little disappointing. Although a range of items were available for a continental breakfast, there were certain things lacking, e.g. plenty of jams but no marmalade, poor quality coffee (plastic tubes of instant). Also, although eggs were provided, there was no obvious means of cooking them (microwave and air fryer are not everyone’s choice). The en-suite loo and shower room, although perfectly adaquate, was a bit cramped. This was exacerbated by a highly efficient, heated towel rail - great care had to be taken when accessing the shower, not to burn your bum!

Sharon took account of our length of stay and encouraged us to let her know if we ran out of any breakfast food. The available food was of good quality.

Nothing to dislike.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Although we didn't actually meet the staff we could contact them by message and our messages were answered promptly. We visited the village pub the Explorers Bar and had a drink which was nice.

A village pub for a evening meal instead of travelling out would have been nice but having said that we enjoyed some really nice food in the Bowling Green in Wells Next the Sea.

We loved our bank holiday stay at the Hollies . A beautiful home with a lovely self contained feel in a great location for exploring North Norfolk , and with its enclosed garden great for our little dog. Weather was nice so we could have breakfast outside. The Hollies was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated , and the bed very comfy. Great shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen , and the included breakfast was a lovely touch which we really appreciated. Parking on site right outside the house , off road . We wanted for nothing.
