"Overall speaking, we are happy with our stay with Pension Syo."

The host Jun is a super host who was so caring and helpful at all times. He came to pick me up from another accomodation and helped me to put the very heavy luggage to our room on First floor. My husband hurted himself while skiing and Jun is very proactive and suggested Dr Shintani to us. On our departure, he dropped us at Happo bus station. An amazing point of his accomodation is location — the shuttle bus station to 47 and Illmori are just right in front of your Pension. u can walk within 5-10 min to Echoland where you can find lots of delicious cafes.

The only drawback about the place is the mattress which are not supporting our spine enough.

We had an amazing stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The rooms were cozy, clean, and perfect after long days out enjoying the snow. The location is fantastic — peaceful and scenic, yet still close to great restaurants and places to explore. Waking up to the snowy surroundings each morning was absolutely beautiful and made the trip feel extra special. Everything about our stay felt relaxing and well cared for. We left with great memories and would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Great cozy accom, with a free shuttle stop directly out the front to take you to ski resorts. Jun was a great host who went out of his way to make our stay a great time.

Breakfast was nice but a little light on for the price

The owners at pension were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the house is located very conveniently with a shuttle stop in the driveway and 5 min walk to one of the major bus stops. The private onsen was wonderful and their in-house restaurant is delicious. We had a wonderful time staying here.

The beds were very firm and could have been more comfortable.
