Gallo House

I have encountered all the things that previous guests have mentioned in the comments - next time I will read more carefully. First of all, the place is very humid, which results in a very cold interior. Also, the antique furniture is full of dust. The bedding is old and worn out and the whole room is filled with the smell of pipes (it seems that the owner does not want to fix them and rents them out, despite the fact that many people have mentioned the problem). The air conditioning stinks, probably full of mold. Also, Gallo House is located in a very dangerous neighborhood full of drunks and shady guys, so if you are traveling alone, it is simply unsafe to stay there. For me a nightmare of a stay. I warn anyone against staying in this place!

It was great to relax in the whole house and it so happened that we were alone. It was very quiet and comfortable. The interior was pleasing to the eye

It was very cold, but I think it was because we lived in a stone house.

Beautiful, welcoming house full of character in a nice quiet neighbourhood, good location near public transport and sights, comfortable room, free use of well-equipped common kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea, responsive host.

A bit tricky to find because the location isn't indicated well on either Google maps or Apple maps. Luckily, Luke (the owner) came to the rescue. Luke is very helpful and goes above and beyond!

Nice and clean apartments very close to the Great Harbor. Ideal for tourists who want to see historical sites in 3 cities or in Valletta (there is a rather cheap ferry about 10 minutes away from apartments). There were even adapter for EU electric socket (which was great for travellers like me who forgot to check which sockets are on Malta).

Super host and a very nice common area, ideal to work, make your own breakfast etc. Also close to some nice bars, supermarket and the ferry to Valletta.
