We had an absolutely incredible stay here in Diacarisma! The place itself was stunning — so clean, well-kept, and beautifully designed. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The host Muhammad is one of the loveliest, most friendly people we’ve ever met, and the same goes for the entire team. A special shout-out to the two lovely ladies Heaven and Eva who helped us throughout our stay — they were so kind, attentive, and just a pleasure to be around. One of the highlights was how accommodating everyone was. We were allowed to check out later, which made such a difference as our flight was in the evening. The host always made time to come and chat with us and was incredibly helpful with anything we needed — even going above and beyond to organise a birthday cake for me on my birthday, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar — you’ll be so well looked after and feel right at home.

The wifi was abit slow but other than that no faults!

The staff were so kind and really helpful… the area was surrounded by local shops that were good eating spots ! the whole resort was just a place you can relax at !

It was hard getting there so its best if you have there personal driver pick you up !

The pool was so amazing! Also we loved the comfortable roof top terrace. The breakfast was dich, fresh and delicious. The owner is really friendly and caring, she gave us recommendations for plenty of things around town and was also very adaptive regarding check out and others things. We can truly recommend this place and we’ll keep it in very good memory.

We enjoyed our stay here!! Was nice to relax around the pool and rooms were very large and spacious!! Breakfast was on the rooftop terrace every morning and we’re given a whole pitcher of fruit smoothie which was great! Is located about 15 minutes walk from Royal Beach and most of restaurants but walk is fine. Only downside was it was hard to find initially as Google maps took us down an interesting route through the local village and we got lost. More clear directions or sign from main road would be helpful! Also if in rainy season access road may flood - but expected anywhere during that season. Manager was very helpful and gave recommendations for restaurants and organised us taxi to airport after our stay!

Our experience at this hotel was far from what we expected. While the location was convenient—calm and close to the beach and the center of Nungwi—and the 24-hour accessible pool was a good perk, the overall stay was disappointing. The hotel also offered massage services for 20 euros/person, and the breakfast was acceptable.

Finding the hotel was a struggle. The phone number listed on Booking was incorrect, making it impossible to contact anyone. Upon arrival, there was no proper reception or check-in area. Two staff members helped carry our luggage to the bungalow, but we were immediately surprised by its size. Advertised for six people, it was far too small to accommodate that many guests comfortably. With two double beds downstairs and two single beds upstairs, we were practically stepping over each other. The lack of adequate air conditioning made the space unbearably hot. Shortly after check-in, we were introduced to someone named "Big Fish", supposedly in charge of guest experiences. He offered us a Safari Blue tour, which he described as an incredible experience including a boat ride, snorkeling, a meal, and a relaxing swim at the Blue Lagoon. In reality, it was nothing but a tourist trap. Instead of the breathtaking clear waters we expected, the tour was a complete disappointment. To make matters worse, we spent four hours on the road (round trip) and lost an entire day for €50 per person. When we requested a refund due to our dissatisfaction, "Big Fish" refused. Two of our group members hadn’t yet paid, and he came back that night to collect the money, showing no willingness to acknowledge our complaints. The following morning, as we checked out, he returned again, aggressively demanding payment and verbally assaulting us when we refused. We were physically prevented from leaving the hotel until we paid—an absolutely unacceptable experience. To add to the frustration, on the last night of our stay, there was a power outage from 6 PM until the following morning. We were left without electricity, hot water, Wi-Fi, or air conditioning, forcing some of us to sleep outside due to the unbearable heat. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The the two lady’s working there helped us with our laundry, they were kind and even if there was language barrier they did their best to help us.

The electricity went down several times on our first night, ending up without air conditioning. The location is not by the sea as the booking shows on the advertisement. We tried to contact the owner to cancel our second night but we never got an answer .
