Diacarisma Boutique Resort Nungwi

Diacarisma has a serene ambiance and it’s aesthetically pleasing. It looks exactly the same as in the pictures. The room was very comfortable , spacious and beautifully decorated with air conditioner and a ceiling fan to tame the heat. Breakfast was brilliant and fruits are provided in abundance daily. The hotel is greatly located within walking distance to all places of entertainment and beaches in Nungwi. Taxis and tuk-tusks are at the doorstep. The manager Kinyuu is simply the best he made us really feel at home. Our driver was already waiting to pick us up from the airport at 1:40am to take us to the hotel where we found Kinyuu who allowed us to check in at that time. He is such am amazingly host, very informative and ready to assist with anything you need whether it’s booking a tour, calling a taxi / tuk- tuk for you, getting a SIM card or exchanging money. He made our stay such a joy and in him we have gained a brother forever. We miss you Kinyuu and you have an open invitation to visit 🇨🇩 whenever you like. 🥂🍾 Our appreciation also goes to the staff Heaven & Eva for always serving us with a smile. We felt welcomed. Thank you I would definitely stay at Diacarisma again.

Beautiful finish in the rooms, brand new and very high quality interior and very spacious and immaculately clean in the quadruple room. Great breakfast. 10 minute walk to Royal Beach (most beautiful beach in Zanzibar). Hotel manager Kinyuu is an excellent host and kindly drove me to Kendwa after my stay. Eva and Heaven made beautifully prepared and delicious breakfast. Roof top breakfast sea views and sky views were very special. Pool very beautiful.

Distance from beach was ok to walk in the day but I didn’t feel safe to walk out after dark on my own as a solo traveler. No restaurant or access to food on the property other than breakfast so I found myself a little hungry at night. Had late lunches on Nungwi or Royal Beach to compensate. Will visit again in a couple/group and explore local restaurants next time.
