The huts are on a farm, just outside Ballingry. It's peaceful & quiet. The grounds are immaculately kept. The huts are beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable & well thought out

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the property

cosy, comfortable and clean. Lovely quiet location with stunning views! Walks and shops close by. Maggie was a fab host! Left us to it but we knew she was a call away. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Maggie was very nice and the place is beautiful, clean and tidy. Everything you need is there. The nature is beautiful and free from the city crowds. It is a very beautiful place.

"Excellent stay and peaceful. Watching the horses were great. Maggie was great host and chat was brilliant."

We don’t really like hot tubs so chose this with the bbq hut instead. We got all out shopping and drinks for the weekend and had a great time just the two of us xx was our 2nd wedding anniversary and Maggie was the first to congratulate us, so thoughtful xx

You can feel the love that goes into the Shepherds huts and the BBQ is fantastic. Ideal for a romantic get away and for exploring the local area. Maggie is a lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. We'll be back!

"Fantastic week stay"

We had a wonderful stay at Capledrae Farmstay Shepherds Huts. The hut was small but beautifully set up – spotlessly clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring – with easy trips to Edinburgh, St Andrews, Loch Leven, and the lovely coastal towns such as Anstruther and Crail. The host, Maggie, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and the fantastic BBQ hut is a real highlight – perfect for all Scottish weather! A peaceful and well-thought-out base for a couple or small family. Would definitely recommend.

Maggie was a great host, location short drives to many things to see Big sell for us was the BBQ hut which was easy to use and a great place to sit around to have a meal even if not using it to cook.
