Capledrae Farmstay Shepherds Huts

Location excellent, attention to detail in the shepherds hut was very much appreciated.

It is a very nice and cosy hut, placed in a lovely surrounding. Everything is well designed & properly arranged. The BBQ hut was amazing. Maggie is a lovely host, very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for everyone.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. The Huts are in beautiful, peaceful location and are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and equipped with all necessary utensils. The bbq hut was excellent with bbq tools provided and was a great addition to have use of. Our host, Maggie, was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay again.

Superb!

My first visit to Scotland was unforgettable, thanks to our stay in these amazing huts. Maggie, our host, was fantastic, making us feel right at home. The beautiful setting, warm hospitality, the friendly horses and our alpaca adventure made our trip truly special. It was also lovely being able to have a BBQ in the cute little hut. An added bonus to the stay was Maggie's niece, Courtney, who taught us about the alpacas and even let us walk them—a unique and fun experience that my boyfriend, 12-year-old daughter, and I all loved. Highly recommended.

Maggie met us on arrival and showed us where everything was. Very comfortable accommodation and good location.

We loved everything about it! The location and the views were amazing, finding it was very easy and it was super clean throughout. Maggie communicated wonderfully before and during the visit and you can feel that their family really cares about this. Wonderful experience and we hope we will come back again!

There was nothing we did not like, it was perfect!

We stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding in the area. Maggie was the most friendly host from the moment we arrived (and very patient as we arrived very late at night!) and even treated us to a bottle of fizz while we got ready for the wedding. The hut was so clean, and was cleverly designed to make the most of the space - perfect for two people, it had everything we needed. We loved the separate fire pit to bbq on, and the decking to sit out and have breakfast and watch the alpacas! Would highly recommend the Shepherd's hut to anyone looking in the area.
