The Stetson - Paarl - Self Catering Apartment

Absolutely nothing. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this place.

I did not enjoy the stay.We were charger R8550 for 4 nights instead of R6300.We ended up leaving 2 days before the time. Booked for 4 nights, stayed for 2. There was a used razor in the shower, the shower itself was dirty.Yhe bath had a powder like white dust all over that we had to clean before we could use it. The bedding was dirty, windows and blinds, dirty and they charge R450 for a cleaning deposit. Why charge me when you don't give me a clean apartment to start off with.The noise from the main road, the surrounding restaurants and the construction was unbearable and after bringing all of this to the attention of the property manager and owner, our refund request was just shrugged off after being told that it was a 'NON REFUNDABLE' booking.They were more worried about the review than paying back my money after raising my concerns. I will not reccomend this place to anyone. We drove all the way from Jeffreys Bay to stay here, what a waste of money. We travel at least once a month and I have never been as dissapointed with a place after paying this much money and not even using the place for the full duration of the booking after not being able to hear myself think with all the noise from the main road and the maintenance being done around the unit. We were never notified of the maintenance/ construction being done around the property. I will most definitely not return to this place and won't recommend it to anyone. -10 out of 10 for sure. 👎

The apartment is decorated nicely with high-quality appliances and finishes. The rain showers are lovely, and the supply of toiletries is a nice touch. Parking is off the street and secure, building is secure with access to the street level or parking area. The location is nice and central in town, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The fridge was inadequate for our purposes and would not be suitable for more than a one - or two night self-catering stay. The freezer compartment is small and ineffective. The sliding doors for the bathrooms require latches as they kept slipping open, compromising privacy. The apartment living area and second bedroom look out onto the main road, which was unpleasantly noisy throughout the day and night.

Very nice and well equipped flat in the Centre of Paarl. Efficient and friendly checkin.
