Llangattock Park House

What can I say, i booked it for 2 nights for my daughter to stay for her wedding so it could be used a a base for the bridal party to get ready. The location was amazing with beautiful views from every window (and we had many) the greeting we had when we arrived was so friendly and welcoming like we were old friends, the house was so picturesque, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the interior was so fitting to the style of house and spotlessly clean with attention to detail,we had the king suite which had 2 bathrooms and this was very much appreciated with so many of us getting ready, the bedroom was so spacious that 6 people could easily get ready and still room for the makeup artist and photographer. Breakfast was included in the stay but as we would not require a breakfast on the morning of the wedding the hosts Catherine & Rory offered to provide warm pastries, fruit, tea & coffee and this went down a treat. Nothing was too much trouble. We all had photographs in the garden and what a beautiful setting for them. I can not recommend Llangattock Park House enough, from a lovely one night get away or for celebrating a special occasion I know Catherine & Rory would give the warmest of welcomes. If i ever have a reason to stay in the area again, this will definitely be my first choice. Catherine & Rory, thank you so much for making our stay so special and welcoming us into your home, it really set us up for the day ahead.

There was nothing not to like.

Fabulous location. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and warm in the evening. Delicious food including homemade Welsh cakes. Extremely friendly, efficient and helpful hosts, Rory and Catherine were always on hand to help. Many thanks to you both. Near the local pub and restaurant in Llangattock, and a short walk to Crickhowell.

Petit déjeuner excellent, mais surtout nos hôtes ont été d’une gentillesse et d’une prévenance exquises. Le site par ailleurs est superbe, et l’emplacement permet de rayonner facilement dans les Brecon Beacons.

This is a very special experience. To start with, a beautiful historic house in a peaceful village, but the amenities are not out dated at all, they combine modernity and classical tastefully. The room is clean and super spacious. The hosts, Catherine and Rory are super nice and friendly, they make delicious breakfast and give fantastic useful advices. Every morning, starting the day, we would feel so warm and special, like a truly unique "dukedom" experience. Would definitely recommend and we will be back！

Catherine and Rory were super hosts in their beautiful country home . Huge rooms and bathrooms , very clean, comfortable beds, great views of the grounds and mountains.. Lovely touches like sherry, fruit , welsh cakes in our gorgeous bedroom. Breakfast fabulous, fresh local products. I felt like the Queen , would highly recommend and would love to return one day !

We had a wonderful stay with Caroline and Rory at Llangattock Park House & look forward to returning on another visit to see more of the area. It’s a beautiful property with a sensitively renovated interior, lovely period features & a glorious garden. Caroline & Rory were fabulous hosts, communicative, friendly & helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend this gem of a property in a beautiful village!

We have stayed at literally hundreds of Booking.com places over many years but this has definitely been the best of the whole lot! Perfection in every way.

The house was very atmospheric and our bedroom was truly beautiful. It had gorgeous views from 2 windows and a four poster bed. The house was originally the home of the Duke of Beaufort and this had been his bedroom. However the best thing was the wonderful welcome from Rory and Catherine who were obviously born for this role as hosts because every possible amenity/ comfort had been thought through and nothing was too much trouble. Their warmth and generosity are second to none. Everything was great - the breakfast, tea and homemade Welsh cakes on arrival, even a snifter of whisky in the room for a nightcap. You will be so pleased with yourself if you book here.

Breakfast superb with a great selection of options all beautifully cooked. Catherine & Rory went that extra mile to make everything feel welcoming and special. Extra touches in my room such as the wide selection of teas and coffee, bottles of still & sparkling water, fruit and sherry were exceptional treats as was the cup of tea and Welsh cakes brought on my arrival. I highly recommend Llangattock Park House.
