The apartment is big, clean, and with a very nice view

A lot of stairs, but this is specific for Riomagiore or any village in Cinque Terre.

We loved staying here, the apartment had everything we needed. Located in the heart of stunning Riomaggiore.

Just a word of warning, only book this place if you are ok with stairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily exercise.

someone met us at the train station and paid for a taxi to bring us and our luggage to the residence. Person conducted a walk through. place was clean and as advertised. Newer and recently fully remodeled residence with a washer (must provide own detergent tho). Reasonable rate per night.

Location. Entrance is not located on the main road, rather its accessed through the car road high above the main road. There's a steep short walk down a underdeveloped staircase to the entrance. It was a bit difficult to navigate with large luggage. Folks with kids and mobility issues should be aware. To access the main road one must take a public elevator from the car road down to the main road that cost 2 euros per person each time. Wish the place had AC. They did provide fans however.

We were met by an assistant who showed us to private parking.

No air conditioning, we visited in 36 degree heat, it was unbearable, and many many old and worn stone steps to get to and from the property. The property is probably 15mins from town on a very big incline. It was impossible to get anywhere near the beach the location was overcrowded.

Great location. Be aware it is down steep stairs so if mobility is an issue this will be a problem. Gianluca was fabulous, picked us up from the station and provided us with some much appreciated local knowledge.

Wifi was spotty. Was given an alternate wifi to connect to which worked in only a certain area of the apartment. Not a major issue but could be if you rely heavily on wifi connection.

The host was really helpful and sent his assistant to collect me from the rail station. She was also very helpful and ordered a taxi to the apartment and I realised why when I saw the steep hill leading up to the apartment. When I got inside the host Gianluca had kindly left me some cold drinks in the fridge and a delicious container of biscuits, so really appreciated that. The apartment was bright and clean and had most utensils and equipment you'd need in the kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The bathroom only has a shower no bath, not an issue for me. The lounge windows have a 'partial' sea view and also gorgeous views around the hillsides. A bit disappointing not having a terrace to sit out on and chill in the evening but it wasn't a major issue. Lounge and bedroom are a good size with windows and lots of light coming in. There were things I didn't quite feel comfortable with at first, such as the very steep climb back to the apartment each time you went to buy groceries. Going down was also quite strenuous but as I was there to walk it faded away and I didn't think about it too much.. I was informed there was a lift nearby which took you halfway down the hill and I did start to use it more often, 1 euro each way. Once I got settled in and used to the terrain and environment I began to love being at the top of the main part of Riomaggiore, especially when rather large crowds of tourists visited. I liked the vibe and the friendliness of the locals in the shops too.

I find talking about things I didn't like quite difficult because its so hard to do in such a beautiful part of the world. What I would say is, 'if you don't like walking/climbing up steep hills then maybe not for you.' The entrance to the apartment could be quite hazardous due to the metal staircase and stone steps leading down to the apartment. You need to be very careful. I can't think of anything else, perhaps the cost of most things being the cinque terre it's a very popular destination. So without sounding too negative I'll leave it at that. I got accustomed to jostling through crowds in the villages and on the trains along the coast, it didn't put me off.

Good location with stunning view from the balcony. Room is well-equipped, clean, and spacious. The host is so kind and informative.
