Lovely setting

It would have been better to have the restaurant open at night , but thats a personal choice .

It was convenient location. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of space for clothes and bits. All accessories you might need were easy to find. Shower was excellent. Would definitely stay again and very happy to recommend.

A slight issue in that we arrived late and even though we had emailed to say we would be checking in late, there was no message or idea of how to get in. It was by chance that we found an open door and a room with a key…so I would say better arrangements for late arrivals would be good. Tea/Coffee making facilities all there but not enough sugar etc for the 3 days we were there. Traffic/Road noise is noticeable but did not keep us awake

A fantastic breakfast at 'Toast' that really would be hard to beat. The room was spotless, and the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Overall a fantastic trip.

The website still advertises that evening meals are available, as did the information in the bedrooms, but this stopped being the case a while ago. However, there is another pub five minutes walk away (The Boot) that does excellent food in the evenings.

Location,great for touring 3 nice local pubs,gor food and drink.

Quite an effort to get up steep stairs for older people,we were in room 8.

The room was spacious. well furnished and modern. Comfy bed. free WIFI. I was informed in advance that Breakfast was not available until 9 and the restaurant didn't open till Wednesday, but there was a pizza van on Mondays , unfortunately the pizza van broke down, but a steak sandwich and chip van appeared on the Tuesday.

the radiator didn't get above Luke warm for 2 nights and then was very hot. Getting hold of the invoice is painful if you leave before 9am. I telephoned at several different times, tried different ways with the email but probably easiest going direct through booking.

Accommodation was good, and despite a main road outside was very quiet

Lack of Breakfast options, separate venue opened at 9:00 and you had to book, and I had to be on road by then

Cold room, shower was only luke warm
