"Very good"

Breakfast wad amazing 🤩

The only thing that wasn't good was that is was a warm night and we needed the window open. The accommodation was next to a main road and it was quite noisy.

"Value for money & clean with good quality"

9.0

Friendly Staff, cleanliness, room was well maintained, modern decor, close to my destination.

Due to the warm weather I had to sleep with the window open so had some traffic noise. But now this is out of your control so not really a dislike just general feedback.

"Little Gem 💎"

10.0

Just a little gem of a place 😊 lovely lovely friendly staff with beautiful food. Gorgeous rooms for a night stay, & spotless which is super important to us. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. ❤️

There was nothing I didn't like but there were things that maybe could be looked at like a few hooks in the bathroom for dressing gowns etc, a better placed bathroom mirror and somewhere for hair to be done as there was no sockets by mirror in bedroom, but these are just little things.

"Could have been so much better"

5.0

The location and pleasant staff were the only positive points.

For the price of £120 I would have expected breakfast to be included (we did know this beforehand but this was the only room available in the area at that time.) The room was very nicely designed though there was a lot could be done better. In the shower room (which was huge) there was nowhere to hang your bathrobe and nowhere to hang a towel whilst in the shower so they had to go on the floor. I counted at least four spiders in the shower room which I am sure would give a number of people a scare, particularly the large one in the shower cubicle. The TV reception was particularly poor and the wifi account and password detail in the book were wrong so no wifi in the room. And, there were NO biscuits. That is essential in any hotel room. There must be biscuits. We were only there for one night so it was a booking of convenience and suited us but these things need to be sorted, when paying that much money it has to be absolutely spot on and, unfortunately it wasn't on this occasion. Oh, and they don't do food in the evenings. The beer in the bar was tidy and, like I say, the staff were fine. The design and decoration of the room (and the high price) indicated to me that it was aimed at folk who would be far fussier than myself and perhaps of that social standing. I have no wish to rant but to merely point out the shortcomings. Many folk would not be that way. If the issues I have pointed out were addressed then it would be a great place to stay. Oh and the window shutters really don't do the job, they look nice and operate very well but as for keeping the light out, no, they don't.
