Nice bed, plenty of pillows clean fresh room. Big windows to air the heat in the summer.

No mirror in the bathroom! This makes it very tricky to shave and needs fixing. A simple mirror tile glued on the wall would be enough. The toilet roll was nearly all gone and no spare in the bathroom. There might be more round the house but I didn't check.

"Just tolerable."

5.0

Good location. Easy to find. Clean and nicely decorated.

A very spartan room. No chair. No TV. No tea/coffee making facility in room (although there was a communal kitchen downstairs). Quite low beams in bedroom and bathroom (in attic) which would be a problem for tall people. Windows were not openable. No mirror or shaver point in bathroom. Tiny shower. On arrival the entrance corridor was blocked by stored fold-up chairs which had to be moved aside.

Very well located for alĺ amenities in Brighouse. Very good value for money. Was able to park my car for the weekend for free behind the accommodation. There was a kitchen and lounge with television for communal use which were well presented though we did not actually use them. The owners very helpfully gave us a key fob to operate the electronic door entry system which was better for us as we couldn't use the keyless system.

Our room was an attic room so we had to carry our heavy case up 2 flights of stairs to get to it which was a struggle as we are both over 70. Also we couldn't find the room at first as you had to go through the lounge to get to it and it wasn't immediately obvious that there was another flight of stairs through the door in the lounge which I thought was a cupboard! The weather was very hot and the velux type roof windows in the bedroom did not let a lot of fresh air in but I suppose that will just be an occasional problem. There was no mirror in the bathroom for the gentlemen to use to shave and the bathroom would also benefit from a shelf or two to put your toilet bag, toiletries etc. on. The bedroom also could do with a full length mirror to assist when dressing for a trip out especially on the event weekends. There was a lot of noise/music from the cocktail bar below and the pub across the road but it was a 1940s weekend so maybe this is not always the case. The music did, however stop at around midnight.
