The service at this small, family run hotel was really good. Extremely friendly staff who could not have done any more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Excellent breakfast was included in the cost. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and overall the hotel had a wonderful, calm feeling

Superbe ensemble dans un jardin, particulièrement calme et pourtant en pleine ville. A quelques pas de bons restaurants, de grands marchés populaires et du night bazar. Bon petit déjeuner à la carte.

L'extrême gentillesse des propriétaires au petit soin pour nous. L'hôtel est bien situé et notre chambre en fond de cours était extrêmement calme. Le jardin paysager est magnifique et la piscine aussi. Je recommande l'endroit

Baan Orapin guesthouse is an oasis in the Wat Kat area, just east of the Ping River, a short walk over the footbridge into town. We stayed in a junior suite at the back (#202) which was clean, quiet and spacious with lovely decor, and a balcony so we could observe the squirrels and birds. The owners and staff are lovely people and very responsive. Breakfast is ample, coffee comes from Khna next door and is excellent. The windows are fitted with screens that keep out the bugs. We took Grab to town (10') when it was hot and walked back in the evening (25'). The pool was refreshing during those hot afternoons and it was cleaned every morning. The staff booked us a driver/guide, Mr A, on the 2 days we visited spots out of town, the National Elephant Sancuary and Doi Suthep and Wat Pha Lat, the latter being the most beautiful temple site we visited. We stayed 7 days and would definitely come back.

Zeer gastvrije plek. Heel wat eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Dicht bij het oude centrum. Rustig gelegen.

Bedden waren nogal hard.
