Experiencing traditional style house

The house is extremely well stocked, the stay was so comfortable it was like staying at your own house. Everything in the house was so thoughtful

Very modern on the inside with lots of traditional items all around. Plenty of space available for my family of 4. There were 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each, we only used 2 rooms in the end. Kitchen was complete with all the utensils required for a simple meal at home. Washer and dryer is definitely a big bonus for travelling families. Lovely hot tub, definitely the most unique one we have seen!

Nothing much to dislike! The sofa could be a little more supportive - thats a very minor issue. Location wise, walkable to the morning market area.

The hosts were amazing. Picked us up at the train station and were very flexible as we changed our arrival time a few times. Responded to our questions right away and provided us with everything we needed.

The comfort of a Japanese home away from home. All facilities made our stay easy. We loved cooking dinner and enjoyed a very relaxed two days in Takayama. Convenient to have a separate bath/shower area and washing machine+dryer. Three bedroom was perfect for our family of five. The location of the house is very convenient as well, just a few minutes away from the temple, old streets and market. Also close to supermarkets. We will definitely book this place again to explore the region a bit more.
