Location, swimming pool.

Some of the appliances did not work as they should.

Location excellent but not a sea view as described; about 5 minutes stroll to the ocean. Excellent sharp chopper for veg. Cleaner very helpful, came regularly to change towels, sheets etc. Lovely pool less than a minute from the front door with friendly helpful staff. Layout of apartment with the outside in was great for eating out but not in the direct sun. Naivas supermarket was a 5 minute ride on a boda-boda, returning with a Tuktuk. We ended up overstocking on likely carbohydrates. Interesting town centre, museum, market for fruit & veg, tourist market for a haggle, Tourist features like Vasco da Gama pillar, Hell's Kitchen (about an hour's drive away) worth a look.

Restaurant on site was handy for the first night but pricey by Kenyan standards. There wasn't a sea view from the apartment as in the description. The coffee "machine" as described was an Italian mocha pot which took a bit of sorting, and no tea-maker as described. AirCon was not working in one room and took a couple of days to get fixed. Lacked a rolling pin for making chapattis. Last Tuktuk driver "took us for a ride" with his price to the airport.

The rooms have everything you need and are very well presented and clean. Check in was super easy via the security at the gate. The location to the pool and beach was perfect. Nice quiet environment even though it was New Year. Pool was always impeccably clean and inviting. We will definitely be back

The facilities of Ocean Beach Resort, of which the cottage shares, seems to be the only option available. They were extremely expensive and also very poor quality. Maybe this was down to it being New Year!.. We ate at the restaurant 1 night only. The food, which is very expensive, had to be sent back because it was cold, and then when the food was returned, it was very poor quality and extremely dry. Next time we shall eat outside the resort, or even cook in the apartment.

I love everything about the place, very clean, spacious, ambiance,the swimming pool is beautiful,the staff are great and helpful, jovial,the location is convenient and safe,it's just wow looking forward to visit again,the host was lovely,she even we go some transfer to the airport.iove the big beds,very clean beddings and towels ❤️just amazing,what we ordered is what we got.

We loveed everything just mosquitoes but nets are available Soo not a big deal.
