Stone House Bed and Breakfast

Excellent, clean, well managed by a charming couple. Perfect location to explore the local area with a pub & Post Office within a few minutes walk. Breakfast with a variety of offerings served in a pleasant light & airy dining room make for a perfect and sociable start to your day. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities. The internet TV and superb WiFi ensures full connectivity.

I stayed one night at the Stone House as my son and I were attending the Silverstone Festival. Suzy the host was fantastic , our request for a cooked breakfast was accomadated without a problem. Breakfast was fabulous, the house was a lovely country cottage style situated in a beautiful village. I would recommend this accomadation.

No complaints, I was happy with our stay

Charming cottage in a lovely setting overlooking a lane to open fields containing horses. Parking in the quiet lane outside the property. I was in the single bedroom. Super comfy bed with good quality bedding. Tea and coffee making facilities, TV behind doors in a lovely old pine corner unit. A proper chair to sit on rather than one of those horrible conference room chairs. Bathroom along the landing (which is as Susie describes in the listing). Decent large towels. Perfect for a couple of nights and 15 mins into Banbury.

Nothing I didn't like

I have to admit I came down with a cough and cold during the journey from home so with hope of not spreading it I opted out of breakfast. Parking available on the road outside. The village is just lovely.

We really enjoyed having breakfast with Susie and getting to know her a little.

I may not have read the description properly but we were surprised with the shared bathroom.

Very good hosts, very talkative and welcoming, comfortable, very good value, happily go again.

Needs a bath mat under shower in bath , a bit slippery on bath enamel.
