Very tastefully decorated studio. Comfortable and delightful to stay in.

Space in kitchen a bit tight. A bit of noise from above

We rented both side by side villas for 5 nights. They are 2 renovated villas in the Barbati Beach apartments complex and the owner Remi lives in the house above. Barbati beach is the nicest place to stay in Corfu with pristine beaches, 5 beach clubs, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets on the main street. Plus boat hire right on the beach to explore the coast with no boat license required. The villas were very comfortable, quiet, safe, convenient with kitchen facilities, air con and a good shower. Remi also provided beach towels and 2 beach lounges and an umbrella for us to use between 2 beach clubs. If I ever return to Corfu I would only stay in Barbati and I would only stay at Vila Iremia.

To be honest, this is the first holiday rental ever where I'd really love to go back to. We stayed for one week and the apartment had everything you could need and was very well equipped: You'll find everything you need to cook, beach towels, fresh towels after a few days, a mosquito plug, parking lot right by the place, snacks, coffee, etc. It was very nicely and comfortably furnished, clean and we felt completely at home. Remi, the host, is very friendly and helpful. It was easy to contact him before and during our stay. Moreover, Remi has his own sun loungers on the beach that you can use if you want, and he also has a beautiful herb garden, which is also handy for cooking ;). The area is quite and relaxing, the beach is just a few minutes' walk away and Barbati in general is a lovely place to stay. It's also great logistically, as you can get everywhere pretty quickly by car.

As I said, everything was really great! I would only recommend installing daylight curtains or something similar. The bed is also perfect for people who like to sleep on a soft surface. We prefer to sleep on a firm mattress, so we just removed the toppers and everything was perfect.

The villa was in a very nice and safe area, it was almost like a guarded neighborhood. The apartment was super cute, the bathroom was great!!! There was a little kitchen and Remi had provided water, coffee and some chips. The bed was my favorite part of the house. It was big and super comfy, the sheets were sooo soft and the pillows were the perfect size for us. The beach is a 3min walk from the door which is very handy as well and a parking spot is provided with the villa!

There’s nothing I don’t like about the property.
