Amalfi Montemare Rooms

The Owner Alfonso was exceptional, out of this world. He provided us with all the necessary directions that would lead us smoothly and easily to the place as we were using public transport to get there. We even found him waiting for us at the bus stop. Even during our stay he kept on checking on us if we are okay. Amazing service indeed.

The rooms are new and fresh, exceptionally clean, near the local bus stop 30 meters, breathtaking view of the ocean, a very quite suburb, the amenities in the room and the supply of what is necessary for a self-catering was excellent.

Alfonso as a host was amazing, he was probably one of the most helpful host we've ever met. The view from the apartment is pretty much spot on if you desire the Amalfi milieu, everything was clean and the onsite parking is like a gift in a place like Pogerola. Fortunately the village is not popular enough to have a ton of tourists, so you could enjoy the the life of the locals, but you will still find 3-4 decent restaurants in walking distance.

According to our host they are going to change this in the near future, but the lack of kitchen made the mornings a bit unconvinient, but we managed it. :)

The room was very clean, it had everything what we need :) The view throught the window was stunning ! Alfonso the owner was very kind and helped us a lot - he answered to all our questions without any arrogance , we asked maybe too much, but he was still pleasant ! We had a privat parking :) The place ir near Amalfi, very next to the bus stop :) So thank's a lot for the Alfonso those apartamens was our travrl hilight !

Fantastic view, clean and comfortable, great value for money. Alfonso was very helpful on how to get there and recommendations on great restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place and come back . 😇

Need to take bus to Amalfi town. Lack of details for information for tourists.

This is an amazing property with views of the stunning Amalfi coast. It is large and has all mod cons and the best shower I’ve used on my tour of Italy. Although it’s a 20 min bus ride into Amalfi, that was perfect for us, as the hustle and bustle of the centre is too much for me! In Pogerola where the apartment is set, you have the best and friendliest restaurants up the hill where they serve home made pasta made to perfection. Alfonso the host was in contact with recommendations of where to eat, what to see and also can sell you the bus tickets for trips into Amalfi. Parking was right outside the room secured with a locked gate.

Only one thing missing, full size mirror in the bedroom. Otherwise this place was perfect.

In Amalfi coast, this kind of private parking is worth millions. Good location, very nice view.

The decoration in the room could get better.

Wonderful place with most beautiful views to the Amalfi coast. Calm and nice place with very good restaurants nearby. Twenty minutes to the center of Amalfi by bus. Bus stop is next to accommodation. Alfonso was very kind and great host.
