The serene environment, quite and peaceful and I had all the beach to myself being a weekday. I always look forward to my stays at Victoria Forest Resort. I can't wait for my next solo trip which will be very soon.😍

Everything was great

The pool needs constant cleaning of debris (leaves)

The location of the property is superb. The beach is nice, hotel is spacious and property is located near the docking station, a few KM away from town. The views are awesome and the deluxe rooms are spacious. The gardens are beautiful. I liked that they pick up from the landing site to the property and back at no charge. The buffet on the weekend is a nice touch.

The staff and management need a touch up. 70% of stuff at the property have no idea what they are doing. Management is very reluctant, service delivery is very slow and there's no form of leadership. One time we ordered for food and it came four hours later. The Hotel is beautiful but management is awful. Also some rooms need an upgrade especially the bathrooms, TVs and provide a mini bar for those that need one. The Bar at the beach should be functional at all times because that's where the guests spend most of their time. Have a weekly programme for activities that your guests can follow.

The dinning area is very open, making it a nest for birds, so you cannot have your breakfast in peace. The dining area was always full so by the time you get where to sit your food is cold. we literally always had to carry our chairs to find where to sit since we were a group of 7 people, 4 adults and 3 children under 8 years. Breakfast was just okay. If i could rate this resort - 0 i would, they dont even deserve 1.

The hygiene of the hotel is despicable, the rooms are so filthy dirty, full of dust everywhere, the telephone was full of dirt, the bathroom filthy full of frogs, caterpillars, numerous insects and snakes during our stay we never had hot water to shower yet we had children with us and my dad who is asthmatic, the reception never at any one time resolved any issue, they were well trained to say sorry all the time. i booked for 3 executive rooms but it was far from that, the telephone was not working so all the time i had to use my mobile to call for assistance which by the way always took them minimum 45 minutes to respond, the sink in the bathroom was broken so all the time we had to use drinking water to brush our teeth. The extensions were not working, there were naked wires in the bathrooms imagine,The bedsheets where so worn out that they even had holes in them its as if they were not expecting guests. The last night we had a viper snake in our room a puff udder very venomous snake, we called reception and it took them 45 minutes to come and kill the snake and that is after calling reception again to find out whether anyone was coming to help us. The walkway path to the hotel rooms has no lights which i found bizarre since it's surrounded by bushes you could step on a snake in the dark , I could go on and on about this resort, i will be attaching all the pictures and videos . i have never been so eager to end my vacation the last night we didnt sleep until morning, just waiting to leave this horrible resort. That was a vacation from hell. The customer service was the worst that i have ever experienced. I went to relax and enjoy with my family but i left traumatized, after the snake incident it took me weeks to get some good sleep.

The location and the aesthetic of the accommodation was beautiful as always

The food took far too long to come out and the wait staff were very disorganised. A cold beer took 30 mins to reach us, despite the fridge being stocked when we ordered. The food took almost two hours. On the first night we wanted to sit and chat at the bar but some people were blasting music by the pool. When we asked if it could be turned down we were told they'd paid for a party so there was nothing thay could be done. When leaving, we had been charged for food we hadn't eaten and not charged for some things we had ordered. It took another 30 mins and the fourth printed bill to settle the account. All in all, it's a beautiful and affordable place that's thoroughly let down by the staff.
