IEIENo esb in house when arrived ..still none when we left an hour later .. Gang of lads outside..pills on the ground everywhere and cigarette butts everywhere..also dog poo everywhere in garden
GBGBGBGBTo start, communication with the host was very poor. There were unanswered calls and an automated text response. On the automated message we were instructed check in is at 3 PM but were told we could arrive earlier at 2:30 PM. When we arrived at the earlier time, no one was at the property. We had to ask the host if there was a lock box or another way to access the property. When we finally received a reply with the code, we found the house filthy, with beds slept in and dishes in the sink, etc. We contacted the host, who said the cleaners must have missed the appointment. When we we unable to wait much longer, we left the property, and the cleaners still hadn't arrived at 3:30 PM. The host was unwilling to provide any compensationor refund, and booking.com only offered token gestures, laying all responsibility with the host.
