The hosts were exceptional

Because we stayed on a weekend where La giostra and the market were happening. Parking during the day was difficult.

This was a great little apartment, only a 5 minute walk to the city walls, and we always found parking (metered 8am-8pm) in the street. Communication was excellent, and check in details with photos were provided along with a list of dining options and things to do if it rained. We had everything we needed inside the apartment and the washing machine was appreciated.

The apartment is up two flights of stairs - not unusual, and ok for us, but some might find it difficult.

Immaculate! Lovely and cosy with a good use of the space. The apartment is fresh and looks amazing. Smart tv works fine, good kitchen layout out and coffee machine works fine. Finally the service from the host can’t be beaten, quick responses, offering help and suggestions for places to eat and visit. So friendly and clear we’ve been to many places with lots of different hosts in the space of 10 weeks in Italy and this host is the best by a mile!

location very close to the center and quiet neighbourhood, safe and easy parking options. Perfectly clean, recently renovated.

you may hear some traffic at times but with the airco and windows closed it is not an issue.

Great place just outside the city walls of Lucca. I really enjoyed being just a little bit out of the busier inner streets. The apartment itself is fantastic, very clean and stocked with all necessities including soap/shampoo and kitchen towels which so many places do not provide. It is on the second floor of the building so you have to be OK with some stairs with luggage, however I had no problem at all.

The location is great! Under 10 minutes walking distance from the walls of Lucca. We really enjoyed the cozy an authentic apartment with skylight windows. Paid street parking is available, but not always possible.
