Private Villa Tofukuji

Really great location near a train station and a restaurant row. Easy walking to Fushimi Inari and Gion district, but not inside each district, which was a plus.

Difficult to tell on the listing that there are two apartments for this property. We thought we would have more room from the photos.

We loved the location. It was a small quiet neighborhood and we loved walking their by the water.

Absolute hidden gem, location is perfect, a bit far out from the huddle and bustle but still a super lovely neibourhood. The place itself is stunning, spotless and super comfortable, has everything one would need for a great stay and feels super homely.

Futon style experience, quiet neighbourhood and spacious.

The towels smelt so damp and horrible, thankfully we brought our own as they only offer 1 per person. There was something about the place that all 3 of us woke up with a really bad throat after the first night. The space is very stuffy, and has a smell to it that’s hard to figure out where it’s coming from. We didn’t feel comfortable there at all the whole time we were staying.
