dinning service need attention

The location is close to the center of Srinagar's town. The neighborhood was once an upscale residential area and is now being repurposed into hotels and wedding venues. The house itself must have been an ancestral home at some point. The rooms we stayed at were large, and has been designed to host guests. I would have loved to know the story of the place and the family that lived there.

I don't think the owners directly oversee the property because it has a slightly rundown feel, making it appear dull. The walls need to be redone, the garden is unkept. The sheets had stains, even if they had been washed before. The front office staff were not welcoming, though they weren't impolite either. Honestly, I was just disappointed to see the remnants of an opulent residence and the untapped potential of the place as an iconic boutique hotel. With the right management, it could be a jewel in the city.

There was a mishap in owners family still they have managed and booked same sort of room equally good. They have ensured that we don't face any issue.

Food was good. The staff were good. The location was good. The location is closer to lal chowk.

Nothing much I didn't like.

Location

The room did not match the photographs given on Booking.com. Only one picture was that of the real room, and the rest were of some other room. Felt cheated.
