Lovely and clean. Great location and very helpful owners.

A relaxing break in a beautiful apartment, which is very close to a lovely riverside path and opposite the excellent Blue Bell pub. The owners recommended the nearby Our Place restaurant, where we had a fantastic meal. After a couple of days exploring the area, we finished our trip by buying ourselves some treats to take home from the Solway Spirits distillery just down the road.

Beautiful apartment, easy access and great location

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Super attentive owners who drove us to and from our event to avoid us needing to book taxis! Excellent proximity to Allandale Distillery, which was our destination.

The only thing I would change is to add a thick mattress topper to the sofa bed. We were travelling as father and adult daughter, so needed to use both beds. Sofa beds are notoriously uncomfortable, as you can feel the frame through the thin mattress, but this can be fixed. Ikea sell a good thin Tempur mattress topper that does the job! No great eateries nearby… would be good to provide some information in the property.
