Macaw Lodge

I could write a very long review relating to our stay here but I won’t , it was awesome and everything we wanted from our stay 10/10. We WILL return for other stays for sure

Only thing ( but it did not dampen any thoughts on our stay ) was kettle needed descaling.

Every small detail thought about. Peace and quiet of the area

The bed in the main bedroom ( double ) smaller than we are used to ( super kingsize ).# No awning or gazebo type cover available over patio, therefore the excellent outside area and furniture could not be used during inclement weather,

Couple of things that hadn’t been spotted by cleaners Couple broken glasses Dirty glasses in cupboard Spilt juice in cutlery tray meaning everything needed washed

The lodge is beautiful, immaculate and in a great location for lots of the sights, we chose it for it's locality to flamingo land, an easy 10 minutes drive down the road, we visited York on the park and ride and enjoyed a day at the lodge. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, biscuits, had toiletries, it really was a home from home, with the comfiest beds, host was flexible and offered an early check in, I simply can't wait to come back.

The Lodge was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had all the home comforts we needed and more. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub, particularly as the weather was great during our stay.

A copy of the site map for the location in the Lodge would have been useful so that we knew where the reception and 'bin area' were.

Absolutely beautiful lodge with everything you need plus lovely little touches like robes for using with the hot tub. Would definitely recommend & return.

We had a lovely weekend at Macaw Lodge, stunning lodge, beautifully presented! Everything was perfect, we had absolutely everything we needed. The owner had left lovely welcome baskets for both us and our dog, which was a really thoughtful touch. The park is lovely and peaceful and the hot tub was great to relax in the sunshine. Cannot fault a thing, would highly recommend!

Beautiful lodge, immaculately clean with lots of lovely touches from the host. Definitely one of the best on site. Information provided by the host prior to arriving was very clear and well organised. We had a fantastic stay, thank you :)

This is a beautiful lodge , one of the best on the site . Clean and very well presented, it has all the facilities with some great touches by the host . We had three lovely days here and would definitely book this again .
