The Hayloft

Really lovely. Nicely kitted out. Lounge/kitchen was cold on arrival. Underfloor heating hadn’t heated the room adequately. Kerri straight away brought us an electric heater, which soon did the job. We didn’t have any problems after that. Bed comfy and shower superb. Nice touches with shower wash etc. and wine and delicious cake on arrival. Being able to park on site was a must for us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just a couple of things I would add. Curtains of some sort at the fold back doors. I imagine it is lovely in the summer but in Winter it would make it cosier and warmer. A couple of hooks inside front door for wet coats and a hairdryer as opposed to a hair brush. Otherwise perfect.

Comfortable well equipped little house. Quiet area convenient for our stay. Well stocked with provisions for our arrival.

We had some problems with the plumbing during our stay. The plug was stuck in the upstairs bathroom, which means we could not use the sink. The water from the shower was scalding hot and we were unable to adjust it. We informed the owners of the problems but they did not correct them during our stay.

Very well appointed property with gorgeous decor and has everything you could need for a home from home break. Kerri & Roland were very responsive to any message I sent them and left a bottle of fizz in fridge which was a lovely touch.

Property was beautifully restored and decorated, everything as described which is a rarity!!! When travelling with friends it is always nice to find a property with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms of an equal standard! Beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms felt very luxurious with amazing showers. We were in the area for a wedding at Mount Ephraim gardens and the property was just a 1km walk away so an ideal location. We made use of the terrace with a cup of tea in the sunshine and the local area, which we briefly explored on a morning run, is stunning. We will definitely return to this little gem!

Big and clean, with modern fittings and an airy, fresh feel.

You need a car in this part of the world, but that’s not a problem with the property!

Everything was amazing. It was more than we expected, the photographs don’t do it justice. It’s beautifully decorated so tasteful, it was lovely and clean, so warm. We will be going back and using The Hayloft again and again. The owners were also amazing nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to go back in the summer and have a few glasses of wine sat on the patio with the bifold doors fully open. Thank you and see you soon
