Martins Ocam-Ocam Cottages

L’emplacement au bout de la plage d’Ocam Ocam est juste génial mieux que partout ailleurs car on a une vue d’ensemble, on est dans un petit paradis isolé mais à 5 min à pied des restaurants/epiceries sur la plage. Martin et son équipe sont juste des personnes incroyables, nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de partager des moments avec eux. Douche et toilettes propres. Le logement est simple mais literie et coussins super, avec vue sur la mer c’est juste le meilleur rapport qualité prix de l’île !

Mais absolument rien !!!

Tout est parfait !!!! Le lieu est un havre de paix, les propriétaires sont adorables 💖. Merci pour ce petit bout de Paradis !!!!

Absolutely cool owner Martin and his wife. Very positive attitude to everything! Was interesting to talk and to learn a bit about their life in a secluded place. Looks like Martin knows everyone in the area, very impressive. It was very useful to have a hot water in thermos every morning, so I could have tea :) The area is really quiet. Karaoke and roosters are prohibited 😁 so they don't exist here. Also the shared bathroom is well organized. No need to use the bucket - it's normal shower, but just a cold water. There is a good restaurant nearby, tasty chicken adobo. Black island should be nice to visit, but I injured my leg so could not go ;(

Swimming is possible only in high tide, and the water is still not very deep. But possible to swim. If you think about saving on a budget accomodation, mind the transfer! It's 3000 peso one way, because it's far. Probably it's possible to take 2 shared minivans and a tricycle but that's a whole story. To rent a scooter and come with a scooter - possible, but in the end of the way you will find some unpaved dusty dangerous road, so with a big backpack it's not recommended.

The location is absolutely stunning. The nicest place we stayed in during our time in the Philippines. Especially because the bungalows are private and not like in other places where they pust as many bungalows as possible next to each other.

Cabanes bien au calme, situées tout au bout de la place d'Ocam Ocam, dans un petit coin de verdure, face à la mer. Simples mais très bien. Le manager (Jayson) s'est occupé de nous trouver une place à la dernière minute pour aller voir les dugongs, ainsi qu'un van pour nous ramener directement à l'aéroport après notre séjour.

Tutto bellissimo un esperienza diversa dal solito hotel .. devi essere pronto ai cambiamenti corrente che manca buio totale e ovviamente bagno fuori

The location is beautiful and the cottage was unique!

The property is at the edge of Ocam Ocam beach. We stayed in a tree house which allowed us to have a beautiful view of the whole beach from our balcony in the morning. The staff were very helpful when we asked to do a trip to Black Island, which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! The property has very basic amenities which we knew about before staying yet for the price I would still say you are gaining value for your money, it is a good detox from modern life and the locals are all very friendly

Not the properties fault but there were a few power outages during our stay (which were rectified within 1-2 hours)
