Martins Ocam-Ocam Cottages

We absolutely loved our stay here on ocam ocam. Jason welcomed us and was a huge help when our motorbike had a puncture. We also did a trip with him to black island which is a true paradise beach with amazing caves and some of best snorkelling we have done so far (be sure to swim along entire bay to see variety). As expected, our hut was simile and rustic and small. We were not looking for luxury, we were more interested in a tree house style stay with gorgeous views across the bay. We loved the atmosphere and community in ocam ocam - watching local kids playing in water, watching the fishermen, star gazing, watching the tides change (you can easily swim by midday). It has a very tropical and jungly feel, the beach lined with palms. 2 amazing beach side restaurants ( H-Nice and further down beach one called Lomohan Ayasang or something like that - might have not spelled it correctly but they do amazing freshly caught seafood like lobster and king crab.) We stayed 3 nights and had the best experience. The tree house hut is totally unique but if you want something big or want to be closer to the toilets then then Martin has other more spacious huts

If you plan to spend a lot of time in your room or need air con then I'd look for somewhere bigger but this was not an issue for us

Very quiet and relaxing place, perfect for unwinding. The bungalow was comfortable and the atmosphere peaceful. The only downside is the road leading to the hotel, which is a bit rough, but once you arrive, it’s worth it.

Если ехать в Окам-Окам за первозданной природой,пожить как Робинзон без связи и благ человечества,если довериться местному парню Джейсону-это самое то!Жилья по побережью много на любой вкус и кошелёк,но именно южная часть пляжа как бы отделена от всего,но и рядом с ней!Джейсон исполнит все ваши хотелки,связанные с моремНемножко доработать в деталях-и будет супержильё!

Отсутсвие интернета

Если вам надо лакшери-отель,всё включено и спа-процедуры-вам не сюда!Если вы едете за красивыми видами,единением с природой,островными пляжами,дюгонями и жирафами,россыпью ночных звёзд и шикарными закатами-это вам к Джейсону.Простецкие бунгало,в которых вы будете появляться только вечером на сон расположены прямо на берегу удалённого пляжа Окам-Окам.Душ и туалет сделаны отдельно,с отличным напором воды комнатной температуры.Под боком всегда лодка и волшебник Джейсон,который за долю малую отвезёт и покажет вам все близлежащие красоты.Далее по пляжу есть несколько магазинов и кафешек с адекватными ценами(мы всегда питались у Альмы в Aina&Prince Mini Resto- вкуснючие осьминоги в кокосовом молоке)

По утрам сильный отлив и купаться невозможно(но это не к проживанию вопросы),трансфер очень дорогой из аэропорта или из порта Корон.

Al costat d’una platja paradisíaca per tu sol. En Jayson, qui porta el hostel, molt maco. Ens van oferir una excursió en barca privada a Black Island a molt bon preu!

A la zona hi ha poques opcions de menjar i quan s’envà la llum del Sol no es pot fer res més que anar a dormir (i al novembre que es fa fosc molt d’hora això és sobre les 18h)

Amazing view over Ocam Ocam beach

The place there is amazing. Pure nature and the care taker Jason is a very friendly and helpful guy. He answer every question and taking care of us very good. Also you can book a trip with him. As a guide and boatman he do his job very good. He is so kindy and always have a smile in his face. We are enjoying everything and the Cottages are very nice for sleep. The quietness there makes the place so peaceful and calm. Everyone who want to escape to the noise city life should to go there. We can highly recommend this place to all nature lovers.

Honestly we don't have anything to dislike

La vue était trop belle! Et Jayson a été serviable, il nous a même prêté des bols et de l’eau chaude pour faire nos nouilles. Nous avons assister à un des plus beaux sunset de notre vie!!

Il était assez difficile de trouver des restaurant sur la plage et c’était plutôt cher (car c’est la basse saison). Même pour trouver de l’eau c’était pas évident

La gentillesse de Jayson et sa disponibilité. Le calme absolu de l'endroit. Le tour organisé par Jayson sur Black Island. Les repas pris face à la plage cuisinés par sa tante.

Il faut prendre en compte que l'endroit est isolé mais cela fait son charme
