AUVieda has absolutely nailed it with their wonderful staff. A very friendly small, family run business. The facility needs a little updating but was clean and comfortable. There was nothing they wouldn't do for you. My friend and I had rooms made up on the lower level when they realised our age. Even so their are considerable steps up to reception. The Bistro only very recently opened was wonderful for drinks, snacks and some meals and had a very pleasant breeze of an evening. I suggested a seasonal fruit platter be added to the menu but otherwise it was excellent. We felt like part of the family after our week here, and thank them so much.
Our only issue was that because we chose to stay on the lower level near reception, the water was cold in the shower. This wasn't a major problem as the heat and humidity alone made a cold shower feel quite welcome. Also if staying a week, a change of linen and room clean would be welcome once in this time.

BRThe staff is very friendly
First, they say there is a FREE shuttle service to the airport but you have to pay. It’s not free. The toilet has a strong and bad smell. It’s disgusting!! The room service is the worst. I had 3 days diarrhea after eating something from the room service.

AUI feel really at odds about this review. The stay wasn’t great but you’re also paying $60 per night so it should be reviewed in line with that price point… on that basis: - close to the airport for coming in late at night - staff were lovely and helped us get to the ferry the next day
- hotel has a rating of 5 stars on booking.com when it should be 3 - hotel said they would provide airport pickup but didn’t. Was super easy to arrange a taxi in the end - room smelt like the toilet urine cake and it was a bit much - toilet was leaking throughout the bathroom
