Eden Resort

We had the most amazing 2 days stay at this resort! It was beautiful. The rooms are big with terrace facing the ocean with an incredible view to relax. The foods were super delicious! The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We would be back for sure on our next vacation and would highly recommend it to everyone! You must go there!

Great ocean view from the room. Terrace is West facing, making for great sunsets. Waves breaking about 10 meters from and beneath the terrace. Room wall stone decor is architecturally pleasing. Great Pool. Excellent breakfast and dinners from the house restaurant. Friendly staff. Had rented motorbike delivered to the hotel. Resort is quiet. Bedding is excellent, though the double/queen bed is just two twins bolted together with a mattress gap.

From the photos I did not expect a sand beach and indeed there is none. The beach is entirely solid limestone rock almost like concrete. The resort is rather remote, so you will need to rent a scooter to really get anywhere outside of the resort and village (about 1 kilometer). There is little or no information at the office about local tours or activities. You must research and arrange on your own. Information on diving is limited to a phone number for a guy who lives in Dumaguete. Snorkeling equipment is not readily available at the resort or in the village; you must bring it or go to Oslob to get it. Wifi at the resort is acceptable for single searches, but does not does not support streaming. Local beach is not much of a beach, don't bother.

Staff was very friendly, great and big rooms, all with ocean/ sunset view and a big balcony, room was clean, big and nice infinity pool, tasty food at the restaurant for breakfast as well as for lunch/ dinner Would definitely come back :)
