Eden Resort

My recent stay at Eden Resort in Cebu left much to be desired. While the hotel boasted of a spa and wellness area on Booking.com, this was far from the reality upon arrival. The hotel informed us that the spa area had been fully booked for the entire duration of our stay, effectively rendering it inaccessible to all guests. This misleading advertising on Booking.com led to a significant disappointment and frustration. On a positive note, the hotel itself and the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The staff members were courteous and accommodating, adding a touch of warmth to our stay. However, the experience was marred by the rude behavior of the hotel owner, which left a sour taste in our mouths. Despite the pleasant aspects of the accommodation, the absence of the promised spa and wellness area significantly detracted from the overall experience. It's essential for hotels to accurately represent their amenities on booking platforms to avoid misleading guests and prevent such instances of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, while Eden Resort in Cebu offers comfortable accommodation and courteous staff, the misleading advertising and lack of amenities detracted from what could have been an enjoyable stay. Potential guests should be wary of the disparity between the advertised features and the actual offerings of this establishment.

We enjoyed the view where you can see the mountains, sea and lots of trees and plants. We love the quietness and hot weather. We enjoyed the food. The room is nice. It has balcony with table and two chairs where you can sit, relax, see the mountain, sea and beautiful sunset. They have spacious wardrobe where you can put all your stuff. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It’s far from crowds and noisy vehicles where is more relaxing for us. Our kids enjoyed the pool where you can see the beautiful view. Also they have a nice play area for the kids like swings, trampoline, etc. We are very grateful we found this paradise and hopefully when we go back to Cebu we will definitely go back again to this resort.

We love everything in the property. The only thing we want though is other options to eat because we love seafood and grills but it’s way far from resort. Overall we love the resort and food and the people who works there.

Room was quite big and balcony looked out over the sea. Pool was super clean. Be wary that the pool gets deep quite rapidly. Small area around the pool. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We left for an early day trip and they packed breakfast for us. Meals were good. We stayed over the weekend so were able to enjoy a pizza. Walking distance from the ferry port - although be aware that it is all uphill.

Limited amenities around the area. Everything else was good.

Accommodation is staying in bungalows overlooking the sea. They were huge with good Bathroom. Staff were amazing. Wonderful sunsets.

We have stayed at Eden before and rate this as one of the best resorts to stay anywhere in the Philippines. This time again it did not disappoint. Whole resort has a very quiet, relaxed intimate vibe - you feel like you're the only ones using the resort. 1. Location is stunning 2. Infinity pool is great 3. Rooms are a great size and comfortable and balconies looking over the water are amazing 4. Food, plunger coffee and drinks are great. Cocktails are excellent. 5. Staff are really great. Nothing is too much trouble. 6. Last night the resort provided a DJ (BudoyMaraboles (Insta @budoypix_art)) and was excellent and had all of the 12 family members dancing in the pool.

1. Wifi has always been bad everytime we have stayed and it's still terrible with the SmartBro. Unfortunately the phone signal is also not good so trying to watching a video is a frustrating experience of continuous buffering. 2. No bidets in the bathrooms 3. Water pressure can be quite low sometimes
