Eden Resort

The place has a beautiful vue on the Negros island which offers wonderful sunset. The swimming pool is small but very pleasant. The food is simple but tasteful at reasonable prices.

There is no beach with sand and the sea near the hotel is full of garbage.

A little gem in a quiet location near Oslob. All rooms had an ocean view, the pool and restaurant area were very comfortable, and all staff were amazing. Well worth a stay.

The resort was great but the travel there by road was average. The roads were single lane for most of the trip from Cebu City and there were several delays due to road works. The resort itself it very peaceful and relaxing.

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, quality food at reasonable prices, peaceful and relaxing location with great snorkelling parallel to the resort.

Good sized, clean pool. Rooms are spacious with good air con. Staff are very helpful and really helped us out with a transport problem when we left. During low season it will be quiet, there were a couple of days where we were truly the only ones there. There is access to the sea from the hotel, it’s rock based, no sand, with coral. Watch out for urchins and you’ll also be sharing the waters with locals fishing for something but a good spot for snorkelling. Balconies face out to the sea with pleasant views.

Bathroom was tired and could do with a bit of renovation, poor water pressure too. Breakfast has limited options none of which include fruit. There’s a sign at the entrance that says no food or drink to be brought on site, corkage at 250PHP per person. This stressed my wife a bit as she wanted to buy some fruit, and it feels dishonest to bring a beer home. Needed to ask for new towels/toilet paper, along with leaving trash outside for collection but it’s low season so maybe not as much staff. It’s a really long journey from Cebu city (~5hr by car/bus). Far easier to fly into Dumaguete, catch the passenger ferry from Sibulan port and then walk to the hotel. There are ferries every hour from 10am to 5pm but if the weather turns bad they won’t sail.
