Eden Resort

Spectacular balcony view of Negros Oriental's Dumaguete City and Mt. Talinis.

Access security features were primitive.

The Resort is set in a perfect, peaceful location above the sea shore looking across to Dumaguete. The facilities are excellent throughout and there is a lovely infinity pool. The rooms are very spacious each with private balconies. The staff couldn’t be more helpful.

There is nothing not to like.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view of the sea. Rooms are clean, spacious and with a great balcony. Staff very friendly and professional. Restaurant was also good . The pool is beautiful

There are no restaurants and bars in the area. You have to take transportation to other sites . We love coffee and the hotel does not offer espresso or cappuccino.

Design of swimming pool, dining area, room and balcony, food quality and attention given by staff were wonderful. Maintenance of the two adjacent rooms including the air conditioners and bathrooms were different but good enough for our 3 nights’ stay. I appreciate how the new balcony lock design ensured higher security.

The location was perfect. The small private owned resort has a Spanish vintage feel to it. Each room has a huge balcony that faces the ocean, so the soothing beach waves were nice to hear while having coffee in the morning or a beer at night. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. We didn’t use it but there’s an infinity pool next to the eating lounge. There are stone steps down to the beach. Breakfast is made to order and is very good. The staff is exceptional. It’s a good walk around the property. The property is gated at night.

Some items were broken like the water kettle. The bathrooms definitely need an upgrade…badly. A nice clean upgraded bathroom is the key selling point for me. Why don’t resorts focus on cleaning their grout, I don’t get it. This resort would thrive if they upgraded their bathrooms.

Everything is perfect. From location, food to service. It’s so heavenly watching sunset and sunrise everyday. Feels like paradise from the balcony. Plus they will give you snorkeling gear to go down to the beach. It’s actually amazing to find hidden gem in a place like this. I love it. And I’ll definitely comeback. I just want to say Thank you for the staff who was nice and friendly.
