Could do with another parking space, maintenance lady came when we were sat in the garden to get items for next door. She also had a dog loose so we had to put ours on a lead while she was there.
GBThe house is just amazing and I actually think it has topped the other previous places we have stayed before - that secret room was fantastic - the children were mind blown :-) sitting on the front step at 7am in the morning listening to the river and watching the rabbits run around was fantastic - the kitchen and extra large table was truly great for our family games and cooking

GBGBBeautiful house - beautifully decorated with a good layout. Lovely big kitchen diner and nice living room. Not so many living spaces you got lost! Loved the sauna and hot tub and river. We took out canoes on the river and even had a post sauna dip! Excellent fun for our teenagers. Nice location close to Ingleborough.
Everything was great. There are two other rental properties on the same site very close to the house owned by the same owners - it was no problem for us as people were friendly.
GBLovely large house. Great for large gatherings in a beautiful setting. All bedrooms were big & the bathrooms lovely as well. Kitchen was fully equipped with coffee machine, crockery & glasses etc. The dining table was huge with 18 chairs around it.
WiFi could have been better as not all rooms covered. No EV charging facilities.

Back door access would be better with dogs. Thought whole area was available but no access to that door or all along river. Still a huge garden though.

GBGBWe planned an annual get-together with a large group of old friends and chose The Wenning for its scenic setting and convenient access to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, as we enjoy hiking and being outdoors. While the location is indeed ideal for pub lunches and local walks, we quickly realised we had absolutely no desire to leave the house at all. What was meant to be a trip centred around the surrounding area became entirely focused on the property itself. The house has everything you could possibly need to entertain yourselves, and every room is layered with intentional detail, high-quality facilities and thoughtful touches. Our short weekend stay barely scratched the surface of what the house has to offer. From the sound of the nearby river to the presence of the local resident cat, we loved every aspect. While the landscape around the property is beautiful, the true magic lies within the house and the care that has clearly been poured into it.
The only small improvement we could suggest would be providing kindling alongside the log baskets, as this would make lighting the fires even easier.
