The Myrtles

I am infatuated with human history. This house was built to last. It has withstood the wrath of mother nature, a civil war, several owners, and much more. I wasn't able to take the tour due to other factors, but i did walk around the property, and read on line, about it's history.

I would have liked to have access to the other parts of the house. We stayed in the Ruffin Room (the nursery). We were the only people staying in that part of the house, which was awesome. But we could only be in the sitting room, our bedroom, and the bathroom. There were two bathrooms upatairs; which were two, very large chimneys before pluming was added.

The room was clean and interesting

I did not understand a private bathroom meant it was not in the room

The ambiance and friendly staff

We loved, the location , the peace and quiet , friendly stall , wonderful breakfast and fabulous restaurant on site.

Always wanted to experience staying inside the Plantation. It brings me great joy…was a part of my bucket list. The night was all I wanted
