JPThe owners, Alana and Karl were fantastic! We ended up having a BBQ in their yard the last night. Wonderful hosts. There was a TesconExpress and a Waitross within a few minutes walk to get anything you may need.
All great at 17 Oak Lane. Just if you do not have transport you have to take a bus to get to the Castle, small price to pay for a genuinely good experience.

Upper flight of stairs a bit tricky to negotiate but hey, they’ve done a great job of creating a living space in the upper area of a house.

The property was at the top of a very steep flight of stairs so may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. The property is called castle view but no view of the castle (about 25 minute walk from the castle).

Was not expecting a very steep and narrow staircase, or shared kitchen facilities with other residents of the house. The double bed was up against the wall and shower was very cramped with danger of banging head.
