Front door didn’t shut and lock properly, the bedroom stank of cigarette smoke, the mattress was stained and dirty and well worn. Lack of security on main door and flat door. Carpet hadn’t been hoovered food remnants on there. Not convenient to walk to Swansea town centre or home due to the location and didn’t feel safe at all so didn’t stay there.

The owner was incredibly helpful and kind!

Pretty central albeit up a steep hill.

Very basic, lack of cabinets/drawers in bathroom, kitchen. Lots of patching up. No telly, although not advertised. Poor internet connection. No room ventilation except bathroom. Noisy residents upstairs, doors slamming, heavy footed (not the fault of the owner). Some quality items wouldn't go amiss, and cleaning up backyard area

Fire alarm went off early in the morning and woke me up. It wouldn’t turn off and had to call the owner to inform me how to turn it off. Not the best thing to enjoy in the early morning.

It was clean and exactly as pictured and the host also lashed out towels on the bed prior to our arrival.

The bed was comfortable (mattress not too hard or too soft). Close to town centre. Comfortable sofa as well.

1. Shower water pressure was very poor 2. Hot water would only come from the shower, the kitchen and bathroom taps wouldn’t give hot water 3. Random bottles of cleaning products dumped outside the back door 4. Plates and cutlery were all dusty or dirty 5. No lock on bathroom door 6. Didn’t feel secure as front door didn’t seem to lock properly
