"Basic so as long as it’s priced as such its ok"

It’s as advertised

More hostel like so relying on other guests respect for the property. The futons are whilst traditional quite uncomfortable- and were significantly less filled than the ones we used elsewhere.

I really liked the bar in the nextdoor house, the bartender is very friendly and nice to talk to! Very cheap accommodation and very easy to get to from Shinjuku. I highly recommend this place!

Exceptionally friendly staff. Quiet, spotlessly clean hostel with a fun, friendly bar where nobody batted an eyelid when I bought one drink and sat on it while playing Scrabble with my sixteen year old son!

It would have been helpful to be able to find bowls and other eating utensils for the kitchen somewhere other than the bar.
