Temple Tree

We really recommend staying in Temple Tree resort. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Room was clean and the AC worked perfectly. Best place to stay, nothing bad to say.

Cosy, comfortable and a very pleasant stay. Bed was large and comfortable, hot shower and good amenities. Kettle and tea in the room. Air con was good too. Very beautiful garden area at the front with fish and a terrapin! Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Everything was good. Little bit of a walk from town but close enough to walk.

The place was very quiet and peaceful! Rooms were clean and comfortable with all basic amenities. The rooftop cafe was a nice place to hangout with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or fruit juice. Location is close to most hotspots in weligama and you can easily get around to places within 2km radius The host + staff members were very helpful and kind. They made sure our stay was peaceful and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

The place is in a very quiet place 2 minutes walk to the sea and the fish market. The owners are very nice. I arrived at 7 am and got the room without any problem.

A small hotel with very kind and helpful staff located close to the surfing beach. Great breakfast!

The upper bedroom was great but the bedroom on the bottom floor could use some extra ventilation as it smelled a bit musty.

The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor area of the hotel is dirty and very run down. There was air-con water dripping all over the staircase to my hotel room and hence me. The inside of the room was ok but the outside felt dismal. The hotel is at the end of a dirt road that floods in the rain and has no lighting. I got muddy and it was unsafe as a female traveller. One of the staff was not appropriate with me as a single woman. The owner was nice. The bathroom window didnt open so the bathroom smelled bad despite being nicely renovated. There was a water-pressure pump used to keep the water pressure in the bathroom flowing to have a shower but it was incredible noisy and I couldnt sleep at night. I had to ask the owner to turn it off, which he did but then he complained to me because "I made the water pressure lower". I would not recommend this place as a female solo traveller.
