Hotel Lucca

The staff were great and served us well. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was great, with a variety of choice. The location was good too.

I was sad to leave and checkout.

Location, the buffet breakfast is decent

The shower heater wasn't working properly, but it was fixed right away after we mentioned it to the staff.

We were put in a room smelling of sewage for 3 nights that got worse as the day goes by. We were transferred to another room when we reported it and 3 hotel front desk personnel gas lighted me asking why i didn't report it sooner! I was not offered any compensation even when i asked for it. Had the hardest time getting to speak with the management telling me that they are in a meeting offsite all day and there's no way to reach them. The front desk Michael was especially bad denying me that nobody else was smelling the bad sewage but me, and the family they put in that room after us were fine and didn't complain. I asked for Paul, the asst manager to come up with me in the lobby and the room to smell it. Only then that I got someone from the hotel to acknowledge the sewage smell and take me seriously, but still wouldn't give me my compensation, telling me to sort it out with booking.com. During our checkout, the hotel manager gave me back the 3 night refund as compensation, but the responses I got from Michael and Paul were really bad. I will not recommend and will never stay here again.

How clean and well kept the place was.

There was a basketball game in the school beside the hotel and was noisy and kept us up late at night
