Not worth for money

Property was good, nice ambience but the owner and and the staff didn’t allow us to enjoy after 9.30 pm, we can’t dance laugh sing. We can’t drink inside home. Staff started fighting with us for continue our drink and food after 9.30. They told us to wash plate just because it’s homestay plates. Homestay wasgood but staff were too rude. And staff was asking extra money for using those plates. Overall it was bad experience to us. Kindly choose this homestay if you wanna just sleep at or befre 10, if you wanna enjoy with your group pls don’t go for it.

The homestay is lovely, the hosts are responsive and very very kind. I booked the homestay an hour before I could reach Chikmagalur, and Veena happily accepted the booking. The home is extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for commuting to the centre of the city, where you will find bike rentals, the bus stop, amazing Mangalorean seafood and kind people. I would like to specially mention Veena's son Siddhant who is extremely smart and knowledgeable about Chikmagalur. I planned the entire trip based on the conversations with him - to note; he is in class 6th and well versed with his city. Do not think twice before booking, you won't regret your stay for sure 😊
